Description

As a SaaS Product Manager at Zepto Apps, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy and growth of our Shopify applications. You will be responsible for overseeing the performance, development, and innovation of our app portfolio, ensuring every product delivers exceptional value to merchants.

In this role, you will analyse existing apps (UI/UX), evaluate market trends, and monitor competitor solutions to identify opportunities for improvement and differentiation. You will act as the bridge between product strategy and execution, collaborating closely with design, development, and business teams to ensure clear implementation of product initiatives. This position offers the chance to directly influence the evolution of Zepto Apps’ SaaS products, contribute to high-impact decision-making, and help thousands of e-commerce businesses worldwide achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a strategic product roadmap, aligning features with business goals and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and visually engaging product experiences.
  • Establish user feedback loops, usability testing, and design sprints to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks in collaboration with developers.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making by analyzing user behavior, feature adoption, and retention metrics.
  • Oversee product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring smooth deployment, QA, A/B testing, and iteration.
  • Champion user-centric design principles while balancing technical feasibility and business impact.
  • Work closely with marketing and support teams to ensure product positioning and customer onboarding success.

Job Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SaaS product management, preferably in e-commerce or app ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of UX design principles, customer journeys, and conversion optimisation.
  • Knowledge of UI best practices, accessibility standards, and responsive design.
  • Hands-on experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.).
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams including design, engineering, and marketing.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritisation, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Shopify apps, themes, or e-commerce solutions is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and product management tools (Jira, Trello, Notion, etc.).
